Research into the biology of RDH12 and how it causes LCA has been extremely limited to date. But
there is good work being conducted in select research laboratories. And with your help, we will drive
and expand this research so that we can better understand and cure LCA caused by mutations in
RDH12.
The success of the RPE65 gene therapy gives hope to those with
other forms of LCA. The before and after videos of young Corey
Haas shows what can be done once the tools are in place.
